Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Architect strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and venture capital
- Chair cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-generation solutions
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite executives and board members
- Author white papers and thought leadership on emerging technology trends
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and resource allocation for R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three of these domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on technology disruption
- Portfolio of successfully launched innovation initiatives
