Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for strategic decision-making across product development and market expansion
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and visualizations for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to integrate future insights into innovation pipelines
- Build and maintain global networks of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Advise on long-term R&D priorities and venture capital opportunities aligned with future trends
- Represent the company at global foresight conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into business strategy and product roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation publications
- Experience working with Fortune 500 companies or global tech enterprises
