Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors (quantum, biotech, AI)
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate foresight into strategy
- Produce white papers and trend reports influencing $1B+ investment decisions
- Partner with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on research initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Present findings at Davos and World Economic Forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in strategic foresight or tech innovation roles
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Expertise in systems thinking and complex adaptive systems
- Proficiency in forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Experience with AI-driven trend prediction platforms
- Portfolio of implemented future-shaping initiatives
