Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic roadmaps using trend analysis, scenario modeling, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging technologies and market disruptions
- Translate foresight insights into actionable business strategies with measurable KPIs
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Create compelling executive presentations and reports on future trends and opportunities
- Oversee implementation of pilot projects testing futuristic concepts in controlled environments
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record developing multi-year strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience with data visualization tools and predictive analytics platforms
