Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 5-10 year innovation roadmaps aligned with market forecasts and technological trajectories
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify disruptive technologies and their business implications
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling data narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs to capture emerging innovations
- Monitor global regulatory shifts and ethical frameworks impacting future tech adoption
- Design and implement foresight methodologies across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 tech companies
- Proven track record in translating technological trends into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, Business Strategy, or related field
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or futurism (whitepapers, journals, conferences)
- Fluency in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
