Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological and societal trends to develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning documents for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future innovation priorities
- Identify disruptive threats and opportunities across AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Design and pilot prototyping initiatives for future-facing products and services
- Represent Nexus Horizon at global futurist conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future strategies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through strategic transformation initiatives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar institution)
