Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using predictive modeling and scenario analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align organizational vision with emerging tech trends
- Develop proprietary risk assessment algorithms for AI governance, quantum disruption, and biotechnology convergence
- Author quarterly 'Horizon Scan' reports published in top-tier industry journals
- Establish partnerships with DARPA, MIT Media Lab, and other innovation incubators
- Mentor a team of junior futurists while maintaining hands-on research in exponential technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with 8+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of developing predictive models for complex global systems
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight journals or top-tier tech publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on long-term technology strategy
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Cross-Impact Matrices)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
