Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, climate tech, biotechnology, space exploration) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite decision-making using quantitative and qualitative methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Author high-impact thought leadership reports and predictive models for industry conferences and publications
- Build and manage a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors to maintain competitive intelligence
- Integrate foresight principles into corporate strategy, risk mitigation, and R&D prioritization processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into measurable business outcomes
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
