Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, geopolitics, and socio-economic domains to forecast 2026+ scenarios
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder engagements to align leadership on future-proof strategies
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership positioning Horizon Dynamics as a future-focused authority
- Oversee cross-functional innovation sprints translating future scenarios into pilot initiatives
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes or policy frameworks
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, neurotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and public speaking ability
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, MBA, or equivalent experience
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in scenario planning methodologies (STEEP, Delphi, causal layered analysis)
