Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech) with 3-5 year impact horizons
- Develop comprehensive future scenario models and risk assessments for disruptive innovations
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and R&D priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and present trend analyses to industry stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops on future-proofing business models
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-technological shifts affecting technology adoption curves
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field with 10+ years of experience
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep technical knowledge across AI/ML, quantum systems, and biotechnology convergence
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (whitepapers, journals)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on innovation roadmaps
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFMP) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping initiatives
