Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic systems for 2026-era infrastructure
- Lead development of neuromorphic computing platforms for adaptive AI networks
- Architect decentralized identity frameworks using blockchain and zero-knowledge proofs
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (biotech, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Develop ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous decision-making systems
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford AI on future-proofing research initiatives
- Present technological roadmaps to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
Qualifications
- 10+ years in advanced R&D with 5+ years in strategic technology foresight
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Published research in Nature/Science on AI ethics or quantum computing
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit)
- Experience with ISO 42001 AI management systems and NIST AI RMF frameworks
- Deep knowledge of post-quantum cryptography standards (NIST PQC project)
