Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends, market disruptions, and geopolitical shifts to forecast industry trajectories through 2030
- Develop and maintain Horizon's Technology Radar framework for prioritizing R&D investments
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive stakeholders to stress-test business continuity strategies
- Author thought leadership whitepapers and present at global innovation forums
- Partner with product teams to embed future-ready principles into roadmaps
- Establish KPIs for measuring innovation velocity and strategic adaptation
- Manage a $5M+ annual innovation portfolio with ROI-driven allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D management, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercialized products
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech domains
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent strategic foresight credentials
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEPVL)
- Exceptional data visualization and narrative communication skills
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published author in peer-reviewed innovation journals
