Responsibilities
- Lead Model Architecture: Design and implement cutting-edge generative AI architectures, including transformers and diffusion models, tailored for enterprise scalability.
- R&D Leadership: Conduct advanced research in natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision to pioneer new capabilities for the 2026 product roadmap.
- Optimization: Optimize model inference speeds and reduce computational costs using techniques like quantization and distillation.
- Model Evaluation: Establish rigorous testing frameworks to ensure model safety, fairness, and accuracy across diverse datasets.
- Team Mentorship: Guide a team of junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and designers to translate complex technical requirements into intuitive user experiences.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML, with at least 2 years leading projects involving Generative AI or LLMs.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.
- System Design: Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and MLOps pipelines.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex mathematical and algorithmic challenges.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
