- Architect and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype technologies with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities and threats
- Develop strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry pioneers
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite stakeholders and secure executive buy-in
- Manage innovation portfolio P&L with $5M+ annual budget
- Champion design thinking methodologies across product development lifecycle
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 3+ year market impact
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Experience with strategic planning frameworks (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Scenario Planning)
- Strong financial acumen for technology portfolio management
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and executive audiences
- Certification in innovation management or product strategy preferred
