Responsibilities
- Architect & Scale: Design and implement resilient microservices and distributed systems capable of handling peak loads during the 2026 Games.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor a diverse team of engineers, conducting code reviews and establishing best practices for cloud infrastructure.
- System Reliability: Oversee infrastructure monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Innovation: Explore emerging technologies (e.g., Edge Computing, 5G integration) to enhance fan engagement and data latency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and designers to translate complex requirements into elegant technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead technical role.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java, and deep expertise in AWS or GCP.
- Infrastructure: Strong background in Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC (Terraform/Ansible).
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading engineering teams through large-scale deployments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
