- Optimize revenue cycle through accurate coding (ICD-10, CPT) and claim submission
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies and insurance denials
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with HIPAA and CMS regulations
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document services accurately
- Generate monthly financial reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in a hospital or large clinic setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expert knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance protocols
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
