Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end medical billing processes for 200+ providers
- Optimize revenue cycle through strategic claim submission and follow-up
- Analyze denials and implement corrective action plans
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and regulatory adherence
- Collaborate with coding and clinical teams for documentation accuracy
- Generate monthly performance reports for leadership review
- Maintain patient account balances and resolution of complex billing issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials required
- Expert knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EMR/billing software
- Demonstrated success in reducing claim denial rates
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management preferred
