Responsibilities
- Manage the entire medical billing cycle, from claim submission to payment posting.
- Verify and validate patient insurance information and eligibility.
- Resolve billing denials and appeals with payers efficiently.
- Generate and analyze revenue reports to identify trends and improve cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
Qualifications
- CPC or CMC certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing and coding.
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or AthenaHealth).
