Job Description
Are you ready to define the future of human-machine interaction?
At Neural Horizon Labs, we are not just building software; we are architecting the bridge between biological cognition and digital intelligence. We are seeking a visionary Senior Neural Interface Engineer to lead the development of our next-generation Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology. If you possess a deep understanding of signal processing, embedded systems, and the ethical implications of AI, we want to hear from you.
The Role:
As a key member of our R&D division, you will be responsible for developing the firmware and algorithms that power our non-invasive neural headsets. You will work at the intersection of neuroscience, hardware engineering, and machine learning.
Responsibilities
- Architect Low-Latency Firmware: Design and implement real-time firmware for microcontrollers to process neural signals with minimal latency.
- Signal Optimization: Develop advanced algorithms to filter noise and extract meaningful neural data from raw bio-signals.
- Collaborate with Neuroscientists: Partner with clinical experts to validate sensor placement and data accuracy in human trials.
- Hardware Integration: Work closely with hardware teams to integrate custom ASICs and sensors into consumer-ready devices.
- Roadmap Planning: Contribute to the technical roadmap for our 2026 product release cycle.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all products meet stringent medical device safety standards (IEC 60601, ISO 13482).
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Engineering, Neuroscience, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in embedded systems, signal processing, or hardware-software co-design.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in C++, Python, and CUDA for high-performance computing.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of neural signal processing (EEG/MEG) and BCI architecture.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a passion for ethical AI development.
