Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications with precision and efficiency
- Verify medication orders and maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with pharmacists to optimize medication therapy
- Manage inventory control and sterile compounding
- Provide exceptional patient education on medication usage
- Ensure compliance with FDA and state pharmacy regulations
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and data security protocols
Qualifications
- PTCB certification required (CPhT)
- 2+ years of hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of sterile compounding procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Valid Texas pharmacy technician license
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy software
- CPR certification preferred
