Responsibilities
- Define the high-level technical vision and architectural strategy for Project 2026, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Lead the end-to-end design of complex distributed systems, microservices architectures, and cloud-native solutions.
- Mentor and coach engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and architecture assessments to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including product managers and data scientists, to translate requirements into technical blueprints.
- Drive the adoption of emerging technologies, evaluating their potential to enhance our product offerings.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership or principal engineering role.
- Deep expertise in Python, Go, or Rust, with a strong understanding of system design patterns.
- Proven track record of architecting and deploying systems on AWS or Azure with a focus on high availability and fault tolerance.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and containerization technologies (Docker).
- Strong background in data engineering, machine learning infrastructure, or edge computing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
