Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of the 2026 World Cup technology infrastructure projects from initiation through closure.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks related to cybersecurity and data integrity for high-traffic events.
- Coordinate with venue stakeholders to integrate new tech solutions into existing legacy systems.
- Ensure all deliverables meet regulatory standards and organizational quality benchmarks.
- Conduct regular status meetings with executive leadership and technical teams to report progress and challenges.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Project Management, specifically within large-scale infrastructure or event technology.
- PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar budgets and complex vendor relationships.
- Strong technical aptitude with understanding of network infrastructure, cloud computing, and software development lifecycles.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing diverse teams.
- Flexibility to travel to various host cities (USA, Mexico, Canada) as project milestones require.
