Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Lead the end-to-end architectural design of hybrid quantum-classical systems targeting the 2026 deployment timeline, ensuring scalability and robustness.
- Algorithm Optimization: Design and optimize quantum algorithms for speed and accuracy in real-world, high-stakes environments, minimizing error rates.
- Integration & Deployment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate quantum modules into existing cloud infrastructure and legacy systems.
- Technical Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and researchers, establishing coding standards and best practices for quantum software development.
- Roadmap Strategy: Contribute to the strategic planning of the 2026 roadmap, identifying technical risks and proposing innovative solutions.

Qualifications
- Education: PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on quantum mechanics or computational theory.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in systems architecture and software engineering, with at least 2 years specifically in quantum computing or advanced AI systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil).
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of quantum circuit design, superposition, entanglement, and error mitigation techniques.
