Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Senior Quantum Systems Architect to spearhead the technical direction of Project 2026, our flagship initiative into post-silicon computing paradigms. You will be at the forefront of designing scalable, fault-tolerant quantum architectures that will redefine the boundaries of artificial intelligence and cryptography.
At Nexus Future Labs, we don't just predict the future; we build it. We are looking for a leader who can bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical engineering to solve the world's most complex computational challenges.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design for Project 2026, ensuring scalability and robust quantum error correction strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, software engineers, and data scientists to define system requirements.
- Define technical roadmaps and best practices for quantum algorithm implementation and optimization.
- Mentor a team of high-performing engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation.
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum computing technologies, hardware developments, and industry standards.
- Optimize system performance for complex, large-scale quantum simulations and hybrid classical-quantum models.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders and non-technical leadership effectively.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years specifically in high-performance computing or quantum computing.
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE, Grover’s) and quantum error mitigation techniques.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and cloud-native infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) with a focus on HPC.
- Experience working with quantum hardware simulators (Qiskit, Cirq, PyQuil, or similar frameworks).
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing technical teams and delivering large-scale projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
