Responsibilities
- Define and evangelize the design system for quantum interface components, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
- Lead end-to-end UX research and strategy, collaborating closely with quantum physicists and software engineers to translate complex technical data into user-friendly visualizations.
- Mentor junior designers and UX researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Conduct usability testing with early adopters and stakeholders to iterate rapidly on quantum workflow solutions.
- Present design concepts and prototypes to executive leadership to secure buy-in for high-impact initiatives.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 2 years in high-tech or enterprise software environments.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving and a mastery of modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Experience with data visualization, 3D modeling, or interactive web technologies (Three.js, WebGL) is highly preferred.
- Understanding of cognitive load principles and how to design for extended cognitive immersion.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
