Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and implementation of real-time control systems for autonomous mobile robots and manipulators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional AI researchers to integrate perception models and decision-making logic into hardware control loops.
- Optimize software performance for edge computing environments, ensuring low-latency processing and high reliability.
- Design and validate sensor fusion strategies using LIDAR, cameras, and IMU data.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish rigorous engineering standards.
- Debug complex issues in simulation and physical deployment, driving the continuous improvement of system robustness.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in robotics software development or control systems engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) or ROS 2.
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, kinematics, dynamics, and control theory (PID, MPC).
- Experience with embedded systems, Linux environments, and version control systems (Git).
- Demonstrated ability to work in an agile environment and deliver production-ready software.
