Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technical Strategy: Collaborate with product leadership to translate business objectives into a robust technical roadmap for the upcoming year.
- Architect Scalable Systems: Design and oversee the implementation of microservices and cloud-native architectures capable of handling exponential growth.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor junior and senior engineers, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Vendor & Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, Quantum-ready infrastructure, Edge Computing) to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with project timelines.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce enterprise-grade security protocols and ensure all architectural decisions comply with relevant data privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in a senior architectural or leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architecture.
- Programming: Proficiency in high-level languages such as Python, Go, or Java, with experience in functional programming paradigms.
- Strategic Vision: Proven ability to think strategically about long-term system design and technology stack evolution.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
