Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize emergency cases using ESI protocols
- Provide telehealth triage services via secure video platforms
- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient care pathways
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EHR systems
- Train new triage staff on department protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado with 3+ years ER experience
- BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required
- BSN degree or higher preferred
- Experience with ESI triage scale and emergency protocols
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
