Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize ER arrivals based on acuity
- Collaborate with physicians to develop efficient patient care plans
- Utilize EHR systems to document clinical findings and maintain accurate records
- Provide critical patient education and discharge instructions
- Lead triage team during high-volume periods and disaster scenarios
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and state nursing protocols
- Mentor junior nursing staff through evidence-based practice
Qualifications
- BSN or higher in Nursing (MSN preferred)
- 5+ years ER/trauma nursing experience
- Current Hawaii RN license (compact license acceptable)
- ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Expertise in EHR systems (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stress environments
