Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as eating, grooming, and mobility.
- Administer medication reminders and document vital signs accurately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social events, and errands as needed.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the case manager immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- CNA or HHA certification is highly preferred but not mandatory (training provided).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be compassionate, patient, and respectful of privacy.
- Ability to lift and assist patients weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
