Responsibilities
- Delight residents with personalized care plans including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document resident status with precision
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Respond promptly to resident calls and emergency situations
- Collaborate with nursing staff to maintain accurate health records
- Support resident independence while maintaining safety protocols
- Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences
Qualifications
- Active DC CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification current or obtainable within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper technique
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Passion for geriatric care and patient advocacy
- Background check and drug screen clearance
