Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize emergency cases using established triage protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop patient care plans
- Monitor patient conditions and escalate critical situations promptly
- Educate patients on appropriate care pathways and follow-up procedures
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada or compact state
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
