Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient intake assessments and health history reviews
- Assist providers with telehealth consultations and documentation
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and patient scheduling
- Coordinate lab orders, referrals, and prescription refill requests
- Provide patient education on medications and treatment plans
- Monitor vital signs and clinical data remotely
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all digital communications
- Collaborate with care teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- 1+ years of clinical or telehealth experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and digital literacy skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Valid Pennsylvania MA license (if applicable)
- BLS/CPR certification preferred
