Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical equipment and instruments
- Assist surgeons during procedures with precise instrument handling
- Monitor inventory and sterilization of surgical equipment
- Ensure operating room readiness and equipment functionality
- Collaborate with surgical team for seamless case flow
- Adhere to strict aseptic techniques and safety protocols
- Document equipment usage and maintenance records
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years recent surgical tech experience
- Knowledge of sterile processing and equipment maintenance
- Ability to operate advanced surgical equipment (provided)
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Texas Surgical Tech license (if applicable)
