Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures (orthopedic, general, trauma)
- Maintain sterile environments and sterilization protocols
- Manage surgical instrument inventory and processing
- Document procedural information accurately
- Collaborate with surgical team for patient safety
- Adhere to OSHA and AORN standards
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- 2+ years recent OR experience
- BLS certification (current)
- Knowledge of sterile processing procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours/nights/weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Background check and drug screen clearance
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
