Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing equipment and arranging sterile fields
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Ensure all surgical instruments are properly sterilized and accounted for
- Monitor sterile techniques and maintain infection control protocols
- Transport patients to/from operating rooms with care and efficiency
- Document procedural details and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with surgical team to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 1 year of scrub tech experience preferred
- Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology program
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced surgical environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Current BLS certification
