Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields according to strict protocols
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile environments
- Account for all surgical items before, during, and after procedures
- Transport patients and specimens safely and efficiently
- Operate and sterilize surgical equipment including robotic systems
- Maintain inventory of surgical supplies and equipment
- Adhere to OSHA and Joint Commission standards
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Associate's degree or certificate in Surgical Technology
- Minimum 2 years recent OR experience
- BLS certification with current CPR training
- Experience with robotic surgical systems preferred
- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
