Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Count and document surgical supplies before and after operations
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of surgical equipment
- Provide patient positioning and support during surgical interventions
- Coordinate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless care delivery
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent operating room experience
- Knowledge of sterile processing and aseptic techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced surgical environments
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Current BLS certification
- Experience with robotic surgery systems preferred
