Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields with premium equipment provided by the facility
- Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures using advanced instrumentation systems
- Manage sterilization processes for all provided surgical tools and equipment
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure optimal room turnover efficiency
- Document equipment inventory and maintenance using facility-provided tracking systems
- Adhere to strict aseptic protocols with provided sterilization technology
- Assist in equipment troubleshooting using facility-provided diagnostic tools
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification required
- Minimum 2 years recent OR experience with provided equipment systems
- Proficiency in advanced sterilization technologies provided by facility
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and equipment maintenance
- BLS/CPR certification with ability to maintain throughout employment
- Ability to work efficiently with provided electronic documentation systems
- Excellent communication skills for equipment coordination with surgical teams
- Commitment to maintaining equipment per manufacturer specifications
