Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and holding retractors.
- Monitor patient vital signs and communicate any changes to the nursing staff.
- Maintain strict sterile field protocols to prevent infection.
- Prepare, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
- Transport patients to and from the operating room in a safe manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- CPR certification is a plus (training provided if not certified).
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
