Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional bedside care to patients including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately in EMR systems
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and equipment preparation
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Support patient rehabilitation exercises under clinical supervision
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding patient status changes
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification with current license
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or equivalent
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear criminal background check and TB screening
- Strong communication skills in English
