Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs with precision and attention to detail
- Assist with mobility transfers and patient positioning protocols
- Collaborate with RNs to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
- Document patient observations accurately in EMR systems
- Support emotional well-being through therapeutic communication
Qualifications
- Active North CNA certification with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper techniques
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
