Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care in acute care settings with precision and compassion
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and hospital protocols
- Monitor patient vitals, conditions, and response to treatments using advanced monitoring systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and hospital safety standards
Qualifications
- Active California RN license with no disciplinary actions
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in telemetry, ICU, or ER
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems and medical documentation
- Demonstrated critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills and cultural competency for diverse patient populations
