Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through physical exams and comprehensive health histories.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and self-care techniques.
- Document all patient interactions, care provided, and clinical observations accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Massachusetts.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
