Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, responding promptly to any changes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient education and support to patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the state of Massachusetts.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to different unit rotations as needed.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
