Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in ER, ICU, or Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient vitals accurately
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Adhere to JCAHO and hospital-specific protocols
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Participate in shift handovers and safety compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (compact license accepted)
- 2+ years of clinical experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certifications (required) and TNCC/PALS (preferred)
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Proficiency with Epic or Cerner EHR systems
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
