Responsibilities
- Assess and Monitor: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and facility protocols.
- Collaborative Care: Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records and patient charts.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide critical care interventions as needed.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- License: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required (or depending on unit).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Specialty: Must be willing to float to various units (e.g., Med-Surg, Telemetry, ICU).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, travel nursing environment.
