Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per facility protocols and physician orders
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and OSHA regulations
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with relevant experience)
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
