Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned specialty unit (ER, ICU, MedSurg, etc.)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Implement patient care plans and evaluate outcomes
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and JCAHO standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- Specialty-specific certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS)
- Flexibility with 12-hour shifts
- Strong communication and documentation skills
