Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care across diverse medical units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety protocols
- Document patient assessments and progress in EMR systems
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and facility-specific standards
- Adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations
- Participate in emergency response and critical care interventions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; TNCC/PALS preferred
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts in rotating schedules
- Strong clinical skills in med-surg, ICU, or telemetry
- Excellent communication and adaptability skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid state driver's license
